Neuranext Chairman Dr. Andrew Kyngdon delivers paper at the 2018 Global Summit on Artificial Intelligence and Big Data in Education in Beijing, China.

On 22 July Dr. Kyngdon presented his paper on Deep Neural Networks for scoring essays at the 2018 Global Summit on Artificial Intelligence and Big Data in Education in Beijing China. Dr. Kyngdon was a guest of Beijing Normal University. There were 1500 delegates present and the presentation was viewed by over 5 million people in China.

Neuranext Brings Artificial Intelligence Education to Australian Schools

Our first workshop lecture today here in Beijing focused on the conceptual and mathematical bases of Deep Learning. I feel it’s important to start with the fundamentals and build from there. The afternoon lab session, where students write a simple feed forward neural network in Python, really ties everything together; and the benefits of concepts like regularisation and ReLU neurons become very concrete.
